UX Designer

Pocket is growing. We are looking for a talented UX designer to join our team. We believe great software begins with great user experience design and we are looking for someone to help us visualize the future of Pocket.

You will work closely with our small, multi-disciplinary team of designers and engineers to create intuitive, functional and beautiful experiences for our users.

What you’ll do:

• Craft elegant and engaging user interfaces across the entire Pocket platform on every major browser and mobile device.
• Conduct and analyze user research, insights and content strategy to improve the user experience.
• Work directly with our design team using wire-frames, mock-ups and/or low-fidelity prototypes to ensure interface designs are effective and properly implemented
• Contribute daily to decisions affecting the future of Pocket and its mobile platform.
• Work within our office in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

What you already do:

• Well-versed in fundamental interactive design disciplines and best practices for major platforms (ex: iOS, Android, Web).
• Think and communicate solutions visually to model your solutions to UI problems.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers from initial concept to completion.
• Have experience designing scalable user experiences for software.
